Pickup point in Patti (Eni Playa)

The shuttle bus departs from the Rifornimento Eni Playa, SS113, Patti (ME). It is open 24 hours a day, which makes it a practical meeting point even for the A1-bis night run that departs at 01:50.

The station is on the SS113 coastal road and is easily identifiable. If you are coming from the Patti town centre or the archaeological site at Tyndaris, allow 5–10 minutes to reach it by car.

Arrive at least 10 minutes before your run — the shuttle comes from further along the coast and the driver cannot hold the other passengers up. Have your booking confirmation ready on your phone or printed. Any difficulty? WhatsApp +39 331 617 2407 (09:00–20:00).

Flying early in the morning? Travel tips

Because Patti is about 180 km from Catania Airport, you need to plan your departure time carefully. The night run A1-bis departs at 01:50 and arrives at 04:50 — right for flights from 07:00 onwards.

The calculation is: take your flight time, subtract 2 hours for check-in and security, then subtract 3 hours for the shuttle bus journey from Patti. Flying at 12:00? Be at the airport by 10:00, so board the shuttle at 07:00. The 07:15 run (A3, arriving 10:15) fits that perfectly.

Patti is a beach resort area, so in summer months be prepared for higher passenger numbers on the shuttle bus. Book early to secure your spot, especially for popular holiday departure dates.

Booking is mandatory — there is no walk-on service. Autonoleggio Di Paola recommends booking at least a day in advance to guarantee your seat.

What is the difference between a shared shuttle bus and a private transfer

What Autonoleggio Di Paola runs is a shared shuttle bus with mandatory advance booking. Not a private hire and not a public coach line.

You share the vehicle with other passengers on the same route. Your seat is reserved and the departure is guaranteed regardless of how many passengers are on that run.

  • Shared shuttle bus: €35 per person, fixed timetable, reserved seat — good value for individuals and couples with a flight in the covered windows.
  • Private transfer (NCC): dedicated vehicle, any time you need, priced per vehicle (€80–130 average for 180 km).

If you are travelling alone or as a couple and your flight is at a covered time, the shuttle bus at €35 is the right option. For a private vehicle, see our private hire service.
